CRDA’s Investment in Year-Round Community Arts Programming Comes to Life

The Casino Reinvestment Development Authority supports the Prudential North to Shore Festival’s creative expansion into year-round community arts programming in Atlantic City. CRDA has been a partner since 2022, investing $430,000 to support Atlantic City’s arts and cultural community.
The festival’s new concept will provide sustained cultural activities that reach deeper into neighborhoods and create lasting connections with residents. NJPAC, the festival producer, will collaborate with various community partners to amplify programming and create meaningful cultural experiences that strengthen Atlantic City’s cultural identity and creative community.
The festival’s new initiative started on June 14, 2025, and will run through May 30, 2026. Programs such as the Atlantic City Latino Festival on September 6, literacy workshops in elementary schools and the Garden State Live series at the Hard Rock’s Sound Wave Theater ensure that arts programming touches every corner of the community. As highlighted in The Press of Atlantic City, the Garden State Live concert series launches Friday, August 8 and represents a unique opportunity for artists to perform their original material in a much larger venue than they typically have access to. The monthly series offers affordable $10 tickets, making live music accessible to the entire community.
The CRDA remains committed to this partnership because it represents an investment in Atlantic City’s future. The Prudential North to Shore Festival is dedicated to showcasing local talent while providing accessible programming for residents aligns with the Authority’s mission to promote sustainable community development that benefits the entire community and positions the city as a cultural destination for years to come.
