Big day for development in Atlantic City with 4 major projects up for CRDA review Thursday (The Press of Atlantic City)

Thursday could be a big day for the redevelopment of Atlantic City, with four major housing and commercial projects worth hundreds of millions of dollars up for review by a state agency.

The Casino Reinvestment Development Authority, in its role as land use regulator for the city’s Tourism District, will consider applications for a 180-unit apartment project in the Caspian Point neighborhood, 152 townhouses in the South Inlet neighborhood, the conversion of a shuttered firehouse into commercial and office space, and the renovation of part of the Sheraton Atlantic City Convention Center Hotel into senior housing.
