Deputy Executive Director
Marshall Spevak joined the CRDA in May 2018 as Chief of Staff and became Deputy Executive Director on July 1st, 2018. He is responsible for the oversight and coordination of the administrative, operational, and financial affairs of the Authority. He also represents and advises the Executive Director to other stakeholders, both within and outside of the CRDA.
Prior to joining the CRDA, Marshall served as Chief of Staff to Assemblyman Vince Mazzeo and Assemblyman John Armato of Atlantic County. In that role, he crafted the legislators’ policy and legislative agendas, as well as served as the on-the-record spokesperson for the Assemblymen. Marshall has also worked for the late Congressman John Adler, U.S. Senator Chris Coons of Delaware, and the late Senator Jim Whelan – for whom Boardwalk Hall is now named.
Spevak graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from the Maxwell School of Citizenship & Public Affairs at Syracuse University and lives with his wife Andrea Katz. He serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Battleship New Jersey Museum & Memorial, on the Management Board of the Jewish Community Voice of Southern New Jersey, on the Cherry Hill Township Zoning Board of Adjustment.
