Advance Taste of Atlantic City Restaurant Week Available at
Preview Party February 24 at Claridge
(Atlantic City, NJ, January 30, 2015) – Can’t wait for Atlantic City Restaurant Week (March 1-7, 2015)? You can get an advance peek at what some of the restaurants will serve and help a local charity at the same time, during the Taste of Atlantic City Restaurant Week Preview Party, Tuesday, February 24 from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. in the recently refurbished Ocean Room of the Claridge Hotel.
A dozen restaurants will provide samples of dishes from their Restaurant Week menus, and samples from the winning menu of a Pre-Chef Grand Prix cooking competition at AtlanticCapeCommunity College’s Culinary Institute will be prepared by the Claridge’s catering company, Brulee. A dessert station will be prepared by Chef Deborah Pellegrino, executive pastry chef for Caesars Entertainment.
A cash bar will be available, and ticket holders will also be entered in a drawing for Atlantic City Restaurant Week-branded prizes. Music will be provided by the Kenny I Orchestra.
A limited number of 300 tickets will be sold for the event in advance, at $35.00 each. Advance ticket sales include complimentary self parking in the Claridge garage. Remaining tickets, if any, will be available for sale onsite at the event, cash sales only.
Tickets can be purchased online through a secure payment portal at www.acrestaurantweek.com, or in person at the CRDA’s Visitor Information Centers on the Atlantic City Expressway at mile marker 3.5 and on the Boardwalk at Mississippi Avenue in Boardwalk Hall.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Community FoodBank of New Jersey and the Academy of Culinary Arts at AtlanticCapeCommunity College.
The seventh annual Atlantic City Restaurant Week, March 1-7, 2015, features 72 of the area’s fine dining restaurants offering value-priced three-course lunches at $15.15 per person and three-course dinners at $33.13 (tax, gratuity and beverage extra).
