Univision TV Atlantic City Segment to air on Thursday, April 24
Atlantic City, NJ (April 23, 2014) — Univision TV, the nation’s Spanish language television network, will air its Atlantic City segment on Thursday, April 24. Filming took place with a live audience on April 8 on the Atlantic City Boardwalk for the station’s “Despierta America” weekday morning television show, which reaches 7 million viewers throughout the U.S.
Some of the places highlighted in the segment include Revel Casino Hotel, The Borgata, Los Amigos Restaurant, The Pool at Harrah’s and other familiar Atlantic City locations. Mayor Don Guardian is also featured, as well as a performance by popular reggaeton singer Farruko. The show airs from 7 – 11 a.m. Check your cable service listings for channel.

receives Green Award
Atlantic City, NJ (April 23, 2014) – The Chamber of Commerce – Southern New Jersey will present the Atlantic City Convention & Visitors Authority (ACCVA) with the Chamber’s Green Award during their 2014 Pinnacle Awards Dinner. The Chamber is recognizing the ACCVA for its outstanding commitment to the environment. Atlantic City is the only destination to be invited as a charter member of the Convene Green Alliance and the Atlantic City Convention Center is topped with one of the largest single-roof solar arrays in the world.
The Awards Dinner will be held on Thursday, May 14 at The Mansion on Main Street in Voorhees.
