Will Be Held Tuesday, April 8, 5:30 p.m.
(Atlantic City, NJ, April 4, 2014) – The Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA) will host a free public information session to present details of the new Atlantic City Wayfinding program on Tuesday, April 8, 5:30 p.m., at Dante Hall on Mississippi Avenue.
Presentations by the CRDA and their project consultant, AECOM, will unveil the new citywide directional signage program, which will include four renamed sectors for the city, with signage color schemes and symbols for each sector. The program will assist travelers with directions to major attractions such as casinos, as well as lesser known attractions visitors may not be aware of. Two new signage components will provide informational signs within garages and encourage foot traffic both on and off the Boardwalk.
The program was coordinated over the past year with the CRDA, Atlantic City Alliance, City of Atlantic City, South Jersey Transportation Authority and other key stakeholders. Installation of the new signs is expected to start in the fourth quarter of 2014.
