Karen Martin

Director, Communications and Marketing

Ms. Martin joined the CRDA in September, 2008 as a Publicist, and currently serves as Director, Communications and Marketing.

Ms. Martin began her public relations career in Atlantic City in the early 1980s during the advent of casino gambling on the East Coast. After holding various public relations and marketing communications positions at the Claridge Casino Hotel, Trump Castle and Trump Marina, this Philadelphia native performed freelance public relations and consulting work for various casinos and direct marketing companies.

At the CRDA, Ms. Martin oversees Marketing Partnership, Graphic Communications, Digital Communications, Media Relations and Visitor Welcome Services. She actively promotes the city and the region in a most favorable way, while maintaining working relationships with a variety of traditional and new media representatives.

A Temple University graduate, Ms. Martin is a member of the Public Relations Council of Atlantic City and the Jersey Shore Public Relations Association, as well as the Public Relations Society of America’s New Jersey and National Chapters.
