CRDA Pacific Avenue Paving Schedule
Update for Tuesday, April 14 & Wednesday, April 15, 2015
On Tuesday, April 14, 2015, road work was stopped around 11:30 am due to heavy rains.
On Wednesday, April 15, 2015, in the morning, work crews will complete road milling up to Connecticut Avenue along the south side, east bound traffic lanes. Meanwhile, in the afternoon, work crews will move back to Georgia Avenue in order to complete road milling up to Missouri Avenue along the south side, east bound traffic lanes.
Weather permitting, paving will continue on Wednesday and Thursday resulting in the completion of paving in both phases along the south side, east bound traffic lanes.
The eastbound (toward the Inlet) travel lanes in the active work zones will be closed to traffic. The westbound (toward Chelsea/Downbeach) two lanes of traffic will be restricted to a single lane of travel in each direction. Detours to Atlantic Avenue are possible when the paving and milling machines are in use. Public safety is important and we are asking pedestrians to avoid the work zones if possible, and to stay away from hot asphalt.
