Over the past three years, the $10.4 million in CRDA funding has been invested in improvements and renovations at Steel Pier, one of Atlantic City’s top attractions. $6.4 million of the funding is earmarked for the installation of a 200-foot Observation Wheel, housing 42 fully-enclosed cabins allowing for year-round use. Completion is anticipated for summer, 2017.
