Class II Officers

Through the Special Improvement Division, the CRDA funds an annual $1,000,000 dedicated Atlantic City Police Department Tourism District Police Patrol Unit consisting of 30 S.L.E.O. Class II police officers, three sergeants and one lieutenant who serves as the unit commander.  The SID Director is the CRDA’s liaison and agreement overseer and works closely with the Chief of Police, CRDA leadership, CRDA Board of Directors and Tourism District stakeholders regarding the unit’s deployment, scheduling and Tourism District special event coverage.
