GRADUATION CEREMONY TO BE HELD FOR THE 2015 LEAD ATLANTIC CITY TOMORROW (LEAD ACT) CLASS AT DANTE HALL THEATER
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – (Wednesday, December 2, 2015) – The 2015 Lead Atlantic City Tomorrow (LEAD ACT) class officially concludes another year for the leadership-building program with a formal graduation ceremony on Wednesday, December 9 at Dante Hall Theatre located at 14 North Mississippi Avenue.
LEAD ACT, through a partnership between the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA) and Stockton University, is a year-long program that aims to strengthen, solidify, and improve Atlantic City’s civic and community infrastructure through collaborative efforts of developing an active network of emerging leaders. Through seminars, guest speakers, case studies, and topical readings, individuals are presented issues that affect the general well-being of the City, and recognize the need for better collaborations and enhanced partnerships.
The evening’s festivities commence at 5:30 pm with a reception followed by the program at 6 pm. Many local dignitaries and community leaders including – Howard Kyle, CRDA board member and chief of staff to the Atlantic County executive; Donald A. Guardian, mayor, City of Atlantic City; John Palmieri, executive director, CRDA; Dr. Harvey Kesselman, president, Stockton University; Mark Giannantonio, president/CEO, Resorts Casino Hotel; Alex Marino, assistant to the provost for Atlantic City, Stockton University; Kaleem Shabazz, third ward councilman-elect, City of Atlantic City; Ali Reynolds, the recently-retired director of community development partnerships, CRDA; and keynote speaker Christopher J. Paladino, president, AC Development Corporation – will be on hand for the graduation ceremony.
Throughout the year, the LEAD ACT fellows have learned important facts about Public Safety, Education, Arts & Culture, Economic Development, Environment, Health Care & Human Services, History of Atlantic City, Interpersonal Skill Development, Conflict Resolution, Problem Solving, Negotiation, and Team Building.
