CRDA’s Annual Atlantic City Farmers Market Returns to Center City Park on Thursday, July 7
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – (Tuesday, July 5, 2016) – The New Jersey Casino Reinvestment Development Authority’s (CRDA) Annual Atlantic City Farmers Market returns for its 16th year this Thursday, July 7 at Center City Park.
Residents and visitors alike will once again be able to purchase fresh fruits, vegetables, baked goods, handmade crafts and much more this summer between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. each Thursday through September 29. This year’s farmers market will be held only on Thursday’s at Center City Park, located on Atlantic Avenue between North and South Carolina avenues.
“The CRDA is proud to continue its support of the Annual Farmers Market, which is a tremendous asset for the Tourism District and the community,” said CRDA Executive Director John Palmieri. “The Farmers Market brings great products right to our residents and tourists and is a great way to support our local economy too.”
Participating farmers and vendors include: Monteleone Farms, Old McDonald Produce, Aversa’s Bakery, Busy Bees, Magilla Gorilla Sweet Treats, Cory’s Fish Fry Truck and Clarissa’s Soaps. On-street parking is available throughout the area and public transportation stops at the corner of South Carolina and Atlantic avenues.
