In what has become an exciting annual tradition, Spectra by Comcast Spectacor, the provider of Venue Management and Food Services & Hospitality to Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall and the Convention Center, will bring back its biggest contest ever for the third year in a row to award one lucky fan with a pair of tickets to every event at the legendary venue for one year as part of its “Chairman of the Boardwalk” sweepstakes. Also included in the prize package will be a free room night at the Sheraton Atlantic City and a $25 gift certificate for Applebee’s Atlantic City for each event night. The four-week contest begins on Thursday, April 28 at 12 p.m.
The winner will receive two tickets to every event scheduled for Boardwalk Hall beginning on Memorial Day 2016 and concluding on Memorial Day 2017.All entries must be received no later than Thursday, May 26 at 10 a.m. Fans who are interested in entering the “Chairman of the Boardwalk” sweepstakes should visit www.boardwalkhall.com. In addition to the venue website, the contest will be promoted through Boardwalk Hall’s three main social media outlets, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, using official hashtag #IWantToBeChairman.
Last year, Laura Hughes of Galloway, NJ was the winner of Spectra by Comcast Spectacor’s second annual Chairman of the Boardwalk sweepstakes. Hughes received a pair of tickets to every event at Boardwalk Hall from Memorial Day 2015 through Memorial Day 2016. “It has been an amazing year as Chairman of the Boardwalk!”, said Hughes of her experience this past year. “I loved the variety of events that are held at Boardwalk Hall, from concerts to car racing. One of my favorite events at Boardwalk Hall (this past year) was the Madonna concert – she was absolutely incredible and exceeded my expectations. If I hadn’t been Chairman of the Boardwalk, I would never have attended the Miss America pageant. However, I found it really fascinating watching the show as well as seeing how they produce a show for television and all the different people that are behind the scenes”. Previous winners include Glen Butterworth of Stratford, NJ who was the first-ever Chairman of the Boardwalk from Memorial Day 2014 through Memorial Day 2015.
